Data Format Translation Service
This is a web client that talks to the Data Translation Web Service (DTWS) developed by Space Physics Data Facility (SPDF).

Add a File to be Translated
1. Enter a source file:
Select a local file by pressing the Browse (or Choose File) key
Mapping File (Optional)
EMAIL (Optional)
Reset the Page
- Add File
- Select and add a local file to the Translation File List.
- Or, enter a HTTP/FTP-based network file to the Translation File List.
- In order for the translation Web Service to work properly, make sure that each source file has a proper extension in its file name:

- CDF: cdf
- FITS: fits, fit or fts
- netCDF: nc or ncf
- HDF5: hdf5 or h5
- HDF4: hdf or h4
- CDFML: xml or CDFML
- Remove File(s)
- Remove the checked file(s) from the Translation File List.
- Add the (local) Mapping File
- Select the optional, local mapping file to replace the default file to be used for the format translation.
- The mapping file will be applied to all applicable files for a translation request.
- A mapping file can be used for FITS-CDF, CDF-FITS, netCDF-CDF, CDF-netCDF, HDF5-CDF and HDF4-CDF data translation.
- Remove the (local) Mapping File
- Remove the checked file(s) from the User Specified Mapping File List.
